Wichai Sirimongkol
Bangkok · Intro to AI Course
I had tried a couple of self-directed online courses before and kept stopping after two or three weeks because I had nobody to ask when something didn't make sense. Here it was different — I sent a question on a Tuesday evening and had a detailed reply by Wednesday morning. That changed things for me.

Patcharee Limthongkul
Chiang Mai · Hands-On ML
The project feedback was genuinely useful. It wasn't just "well done" — my mentor pointed out a specific thing I'd done with my validation split that would have caused problems later in a real project, and explained why. That's the kind of thing you don't find in a video lecture.

Apirak Thongphu
Bangkok · AI Systems Track
The advanced track took me much longer than I expected, but I think that's honest about how long it takes to actually understand deployment and monitoring rather than just reading about them. My portfolio project is something I'm genuinely proud of and reference in my current work.

Nareerat Kiatsuwan
Khon Kaen · Intro to AI Course
I appreciated that the course didn't try to cover everything. Some things were left out because they weren't essential at this level, and the materials said so clearly. That made what was included feel more trustworthy. I did wish there were more worked examples in a couple of the middle sections.

Somchai Kaewmanee
Bangkok · Hands-On ML
Working in data analytics meant I already knew some of the concepts, but this course helped me see how to structure model work properly. The pacing was fine with my schedule — about eight hours a week alongside my job. The dataset tasks were well-chosen and not too artificial.

Thanawan Wongsawat
Phuket · AI Systems Track
I came in hoping to learn enough to contribute meaningfully at work. The responsible AI material was what surprised me most — I hadn't expected it to be practical rather than philosophical. My mentor was patient and never made me feel like my questions were basic, even when they were.

Some Longer Stories
A closer look at three learners' experiences — the challenge they started with, what the course involved, and where they ended up.
Rujira Buathong
Administrative officer · Intro to AI Course → Hands-On ML
Starting Point
Rujira had no coding experience and was uncertain whether an AI course was something she could manage alongside a busy office job. She had read about automation in her industry and wanted to understand it firsthand rather than just hear about it secondhand.
What Happened
She started with the Introduction course and worked through it over nine weeks, fitting lessons into evenings and weekends. Her mentor helped her through a frustrating patch with environment setup in the second week, which she said would otherwise have stopped her. She enrolled in Hands-On ML the following month.
Outcome
Finished a text classification project as her ML portfolio piece. Now applies what she learned to a small internal workflow at her organisation. She describes the experience as slower than she expected but also more lasting.
"I kept expecting it to get overwhelming, but it didn't. The pace gave me time to actually sit with things."

Jirayu Thongchan
Junior developer · Hands-On ML
Starting Point
Jirayu could write basic Python and had experimented with tutorials, but felt he was copying code without really understanding the reasoning behind model choices and evaluation metrics. He wanted structured work, not another collection of notebooks.
What Happened
He enrolled in Hands-On ML and found the data preparation sections unexpectedly challenging — in a productive way. His mentor's code review on his mid-course submission identified three habits that would have caused issues in production. He rewrote that section and the project was stronger for it.
Outcome
His portfolio project — a tabular data classifier for predicting maintenance needs — is now something he references in his professional work. He has since enrolled in the AI Systems Track to learn the deployment side of things.
"The code review was the thing I didn't know I was missing. It found issues I genuinely would not have caught myself."

Malee Petcharat
Small business owner · AI Systems Track
Starting Point
Malee ran a logistics business and wanted to understand AI well enough to evaluate vendors and proposals rather than rely entirely on consultants. She had moderate technical background and was willing to invest serious time. She started at the advanced track with a prior understanding of Python and statistics.
What Happened
The track took her around five months, working weekends and some evenings. She described the mentorship sessions as the most valuable element — having someone to ask detailed questions about architecture decisions rather than just coding problems. The responsible AI section changed how she thought about what she was building.
Outcome
Built a demand forecasting system as her portfolio project. Says she can now hold substantive technical conversations with AI vendors and has a much clearer sense of what to ask for and what questions should concern her.
"Five months is a long time, but I feel like I actually know something now rather than just having watched a lot of videos."
